This is an owner operator business established in 1993 by me, Karina Amey.
I trained formally as a Landscape Architect at Lincoln University. My professional
qualification and over 10 years of landscaping experience in the Nelson Tasman
region, is your assurance of design excellence and practical expertise.
Experience also counts in the implementation of a landscape design. My ability to work successfully with suppliers, nurseries, landscape gardeners and contractors, ensures your project is completed to your satisfaction, on time and within your budget.
Vista Design offers you dynamic garden and landscape design solutions for a variety of landscape projects. I provide comprehensive landscape design plans that enable you to enhance your environment in your own way, to suit your lifestyle, environment and budget.
My challenge is to understand your brief, focus on site specific designs which create interesting and practical spaces for you to enjoy living in, and then get that design on to paper.
I provide a range of services, including on-site landscape design consultation, landscape design, planting plans, plant selection and plant placement. My scope of work includes commercial planning, including council planning approval, specifications and landscape management planning.
And when it comes to implementing the plan I can, if you wish, liaise with suppliers, landscapers and contractors so the plan becomes a reality.
My focus on design enables me to draw on a wide range of styles and themes to suit your requirements and your environment. New Zealand, Pacific, subtropical, New Zealand native, coastal, and modern to name a few of the more popular styles.
